For the most part, my reviews and posts on The Booktrovert will come from books I have personally collected or borrowed. I am open to read your pitch but I am pretty strict on what I see as a good fit.

Genres/subjects I am most open to:
Dystopian
Speculative fiction
Grit lit
Mental health in fiction or memoir
Literary fiction
Cults/communes in fiction or memoir
Social justice topics in fiction or non-fiction
Any of the above in YA

As I general rule I don’t read/review:
Romance
Erotica
Christian fiction
Historical fiction
Sci-Fi/Fantasy
White male authors (exceptions for this, but I think they are covered enough.)
